With more than 100 courses in operation, the community has been key in the expansion of golf in Spain, both at amateur and professional level.  <\/p>\n<p>But how did it all begin? In this post we review <strong>the history of golf in Andalusia<\/strong>, from its <strong>first centenary clubs<\/strong> to the consolidation of <strong>international circuits<\/strong> such as the <em>San Miguel Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge<\/em>. An evolution marked by tradition, excellence and global projection.  <\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2>The First Steps: The Birth of Andalusian Golf<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Real Club de Campo de M\u00e1laga: The Pioneer (1925)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The first golf course in Andalusia was the <strong>Real Club de Campo de M\u00e1laga<\/strong>, founded in <strong>1925<\/strong> on the initiative of British residents living on the Costa del Sol.
