Located on the former Domecq family estate, it opened in 1991 and quickly became Sotogrande&#8217;s resort of choice [cite: 1549, 1561, 1564]. Designed by Dave Thomas, it forms part of the golden triangle alongside Valderrama and the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande [cite: 1565].  <\/p>\n<p>Under the presidency of Stephen Dundas, the club completed in 2020 a major transformation of the course, clubhouse and academy[cite: 1596].
