The Higuer\u00f3n Marbella Golf Resort tournament<\/strong> was held on 15 August as a new leg of the SAN MIGUEL XVI CIRCUITO ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINO REP\u00daBLICA DOMINICANA BY GLOBALIA<\/strong>, with Cervezas San Miguel<\/strong> as title sponsor, on a day of golf marked by greens in perfect condition and very little wind on one of Robert Trent Jones\u2019 designs on the Costa del Sol.<\/p>

The Higuer\u00f3n Marbella Golf Resort tournament wraps up another leg of the Andaluc\u00eda Golf Challenge<\/h2>

The layout at Higuer\u00f3n Marbella Golf Resort<\/strong>, a genuine golf test with very varied holes and a course with plenty of movement and great strategic demand, hosted a new date on the SAN MIGUEL XVI CIRCUITO ANDALUC\u00cdA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINO REP\u00daBLICA DOMINICANA BY GLOBALIA<\/strong>, which brought together players of different nationalities in a round played under the Individual Stableford format.<\/p>

Robert Trent Jones\u2019 design never disappoints and, on this occasion, it once again confirmed why it is one of the benchmark courses on the Costa del Sol, with a comfortable pace of play thanks to the weather conditions and the course set-up.<\/p>

A strategic course with greens in perfect condition<\/h3>

Players found Higuer\u00f3n Marbella Golf Resort<\/strong> in excellent condition, with perfect greens that drew plenty of praise throughout the day and a low-wind day that made the round a pleasure.<\/p>

The major investments and improvements that Higuer\u00f3n committed to with this project will arrive soon; in any case, the condition of the course and the service already deliver much of what is to come. During the round, the customary hospitality of Cervezas San Miguel<\/strong> was ever-present, along with the promotional initiatives of the circuit\u2019s sponsors and partners.<\/p>

Cocktail and prize-giving<\/h3>

After play, a splendid cocktail was served courtesy of Francesc Hormigo, who also hosted the prize-giving ceremony. The organisation of the Higuer\u00f3n Marbella Golf Resort tournament was impeccable, and the circuit is especially grateful to Satu K\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4nen for making sure it was so.<\/p>

All the prize-winners received trophies, dozens of Bridgestone balls, wines from Grupo La Navarra<\/strong> and clothing from the Fairway + Blue<\/strong> boutique. The day closed with a prize draw, the highlights of which were J\u00e9sica Reyes\u2019 book SMART GOLF (train to perform and prevent)<\/em> and, most notably, a VESSEL golf bag courtesy of the De Cotta Law<\/strong> law firm.<\/p>
