Turismo Costa del Sol<\/strong> has taken part in the Business Golf Summit Madrid 2026, organised by myGolf and held at Golf Santander, an event that combined playing golf with building professional relationships and generating business contacts.<\/p>\n

The event brought together 96 players and representatives of Spanish companies and Chinese companies established in Spain, the latter in collaboration with the Federation of Chinese Companies in Madrid. Taking part allowed the Costa del Sol to showcase its offer to an audience linked to both business and golf, one of the destination’s strategic segments.<\/p>\n

The managing director of Turismo Costa del Sol, Antonio D\u00edaz, highlighted the value of linking tourism promotion with events such as the Business Golf Summit, which open the door to new professional profiles. \u201cGolf has an enormous capacity to generate business relationships and connect professionals from different markets. Being present at events like this allows us to keep giving visibility to the Costa del Golf and, at the same time, to reach companies and potential ambassadors for the destination,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The presence of Chinese companies established in Spain also brought an international dimension to the Business Golf Summit in Madrid and widened the opportunities to build new relationships around the destination.<\/p>\n

From the Business Golf Summit in Madrid to the MyGolf Grand Final in Marbella<\/h2>\n

The Business Golf Summit in Madrid was the second event of the year on the myGolf calendar. After it, one more event remains in Huelva before the Grand Final, which will be held precisely on the Costa del Sol: it will take place on 21 November at Santa Clara, Marbella, where a total of 96 players are expected to take part. Choosing the province to close the circuit will give participants a new opportunity to discover first-hand what the destination offers for playing golf and its complementary attractions.<\/p>\n

Holding the final on the Costa del Sol is especially relevant given the sport’s capacity to attract visitors interested not only in the courses but also in experiences linked to gastronomy, accommodation, leisure and other resources of the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe upcoming Grand Final in Marbella gives us the opportunity to take that promotion to the destination itself. We want participants to see first-hand why the Costa del Sol has become a benchmark for playing golf and how this activity can be combined with a very diverse tourism offer,\u201d D\u00edaz added.<\/p>\n

Golf as a promotional tool after the Business Golf Summit<\/h2>\n
