Results at Finca Cortesin 2026: luxury debut of the San Miguel Circuit XVI Andalucia Golf Challenge Circuit on the Costa del Sol

Results at Finca Cortesín marked the start on the Costa del Sol of the SAN MIGUEL XVI CIRCUITO ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BY GLOBALIA, played on Friday, February 27 at one of the most emblematic courses in Europe, host in 2023 of the Solheim Cup. Initially scheduled for February 14, the event had to be postponed due to rain. Finally, the course was presented in fantastic conditions, especially the greens, which stood out for their quality, uniformity and excellent speed.

Five-star organization and service at Finca Cortesín

From the moment they arrived at the club, the players enjoyed the exceptional service that distinguishes Finca Cortesín. An operator picked up the clubs in the parking lot and deposited them in the assigned buggy, perfectly identified with the player’s name and located next to the driving range, where balls were waiting for them in a pyramid. The shotgun start took place at 9:30 a.m., after the welcoming words of the Club’s director, José Ignacio Olea, who also conducted the prize-giving ceremony. Throughout the day, Rocío Sánchez Clavijo acted as liaison between the organization and the Club, ensuring a flawless development of the tournament. It is only fair to acknowledge the efforts of the maintenance team, led by Íñigo Soto, who once again presented the course in a spectacular state despite the previous rainfall.

The winners of each category and the scratch winner get a direct place for the Circuit Final. The rest of the available places, including those resulting from withdrawals, will be covered according to the Costa del Sol Ranking.
