Golfers registering their opinions on the Leadingcourses.com website have chosen Royal Valderrama as the best golf club in Spain for a second consecutive year, with an average score of 9.4 (9.3 in 2014). The runner-up – also for a second year in a row – was Finca Cortesín (9.1) followed by La Galiana (8.9).

The golfers’ choice rankings were compiled based on 250,000 opinions by both Spanish and foreign golfers expressed on Leadingcourses.com. This is the second time the website has published a classification for Spain. Several factors were taken into account, including the golf course itself, the overall impression of the club, maintenance, facilities such as those for practice, the clubhouse and the relationship between quality and price.
