Players from 12 different countries secured their 2018 U.S. LPGA Tour cards at the Qualifying School in Florida. In total, 31 countries were represented at the final stage, with 20 women earning their cards and a further 29 awarded conditional status.

Leading the way at 12-under par overall was Japan’s Nasa Hataoka, followed by

Tiffany Chan, who becomes the first player from Hong Kong to qualify for the LPGA, South African Paula Reto and Australian Rebecca Artis. Sharing fifth place were University of Southern California junior Robynn Ree, who will now be turning professional, and Luna Sobron Galmes from Palma De Mallorca.

The winner of two LET Access Series events and a pair of Santander Tour titles (Spanish national circuit), 23-year-old Sobrón was the leading European qualifier, finishing one stroke ahead of Georgia Hall, who tees up in this week’s final Ladies European Tour event of the season (in Dubai) with the money title already secured.

Sobrón will now be joining compatriots Carlota Ciganda, Azahara Muñoz, Beatriz Recari and Belén Mozo on next year’s LPGA Tour.
