Greg Tannos was making his way around a southern New South Wales course when he came across a rather unexpected obstacle – or obstacles. Well, perhaps not all that unusual in Australia, where kangaroos are a common sight on the fairways, attracted by lush grass which is ideal for feeding their joeys large quantities of protein.
Tannos and his playing partner at the St Georges Basin Country Club in Sanctuary Point continued their round unperturbed at being surrounded by a reported hundred or more kangaroos, and even recorded the scene for posterity on FIndMyAustralia.com.
