There are those who never get it in their entire life, and there are those who are fortunate enough to enjoy it from very early on. Making hole one. Well, a boy of just 6 years old is one of the super lucky ones and has become the youngest player to score a hole-in-one on the Bruntsfield Links course in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Little Jack Dunn accomplished the feat on hole 7 of 134 yards with his driver.
“It was fantastic,” he said. “I hope to get many more.”
Dougie Cleeton, the club’s executive director, commented, “It’s a good topic of conversation among our members.”
He added that the tradition of the hole-in-one winner buying a round was fulfilled: “Jack put the traditional bottle on the bar, even if it was Coca Cola, so that everyone could celebrate his success”.
The youngster’s father, Jonathan, a member of the Bruntsfield club, and his brother Angus, 4 , also play golf.
Bruntsfield, founded at 1761, is the fourth oldest club in the world.
