

The golfer from Malaga has fulfilled the forecasts that postulated him as a top contender for the victory and with a first partial of 73 strokes (+1), he took a giant step to revalidate the triumph of the last edition.
In provisional second place, five strokes behind the leader, was the local player Enrique de Bernardo, while in third place, Alberto Fresno, author of a round of 79 strokes, was one ahead of a chasing quintet composed of Julio Garrido, Antonio Domínguez, Vicente Moro, Juan Jesús Mena and Santiago Urquijo.
In the second and final round, Jacobo Cestino presented a card of 77 strokes (+5) that allowed him to increase his lead to nine strokes over Enrique de Bernardo.
The player with federative license by the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande achieved the runner-up position with a total of 159 strokes (78+81), followed by Agustin Mazarrasa (3rd), Samuel Cadenas (4th), Ignacio Valcarce (5th) and Francisco Sanchez (6th), all of them equal at 161 strokes.
After finishing the competition, Manuel Garvayo, Acting President of the Men’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Agustin Mazarrasa, Managing Director of the Real Club de Golf Sotogrande; and Diego Molina, Chief Referee of the championship; presided over the awards ceremony to the top finishers of a tournament that was celebrating its eleventh edition.
