Tournament in Antequera Golf: results and winners of the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit

The Antequera Golf tournament held on May 2 was a very special event in the SAN MIGUEL XVI CIRCUITO ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BY GLOBALIA, as it was the first visit of the circuit to this course in Malaga after 16 editions.

Expectations were high, both on the part of the organization and the regular players, many of whom did not know the course. The success was resounding, completing the quota of participants and leaving an excellent impression among all attendees.

Course conditions and development of the tournament in Antequera Golf

Designed by José María Cañizares, the Antequera Golf course, located in the mountains above the Antequera valley, offered a strategic challenge of the highest level, combining scenic beauty with technical demands.

The players enjoyed greens in perfect condition, with excellent rolling, while the presence of wind during the day increased the difficulty, forcing them to display the best golf of each participant.

After the competition, the players enjoyed a cocktail at the clubhouse, completing a very satisfying sporting and social day.

Antequera Golf Tournament Experience

The day was attended by the president of the club, Ramón Jiménez, who also participated in the competition and showed his willingness to return to Antequera Golf to host future tests of the circuit.

The atmosphere was excellent throughout the day, with a careful organization to detail. The players enjoyed both the course and the services offered, including refreshments with San Miguel beers and Solán de Cabras water during the tournament and the cocktail afterwards.

The scratch winner and the winners of each category earn a direct place in the Circuit Final, while the remaining spots will be allocated according to the Costa del Sol Ranking, including any vacancies arising from withdrawals among qualified players.
