Almenara Golf Resort has closed the sixteenth edition of the Andalusian Seniors Circuit with the celebration of the Grand Final in its Lagos-Pinos course. More than fifty players qualified for this last event of the season, played over 18 holes under the Stableford Handicap modality.
As for the winners, Francisco Martín Guerrero won with an outstanding score of 35 points in the first category of Gentlemen.
Second place, three points behind the winner, went to Francisco Gómez Berrocal, and in third place, with a round of 31 points, was Francisco Cervilla Rodríguez.
In the 2nd Gentlemen’s category, the handicap difference awarded the victory to José Antonio Almansa Risquez, after finishing tied on 33 points with Alfredo Herrera Rueda. Next, also tied, although in this case at 30 points, Antonio Fernández González and Alfonso Andrés Rojo Ramírez took third and fourth place, respectively.
Likewise, regarding the Ladies category, Ángela Pertiñez Izquierdo won the victory after an excellent round of 35 stableford points.
Four points behind the winner Felicity Jordanwhile Eulalia García-Estrada García was third with 30 points.
Andalusian Senior Ranking Champions 2013
Precisely, Ángela Pertiñez added a second prize after winning the Andalusian Senior Women’s Ranking 2013.
Also awarded for their regularity were Regino Angulo Varona, winner of the Ranking in the first category of Gentlemen, and John Robilliard, who has accumulated six titles in the first category and this year has made his debut in the second category.
After the end of the competition, the Barbésula room of Almenara Golf was the scene of the awards ceremony, which was attended by Maria Pilar van DulkenActing President of the Women’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation. It should be recalled that this season the Andalusian Seniors Circuit has consisted of nine tournaments held in the magnificent layouts of the following golf courses Club de Golf Playa Serena, Club Zaudín Golf, Club de Campo de Córdoba, Parque Deportivo La Garza, Montecastillo Golf, Golf Nuevo Portil, Baviera Golf, Santa Clara Golf Club Granada and Almenara Golf Resort.
