Andalusia’s Juvenil and Benjamín, in Baviera, Islantilla and Almerimar

Baviera Golf, Islantilla Golf Resort and Golf Almerimar hosted the Andalusian Junior and Benjamin Circuits on Sunday. In total, more than 260 players under 16 years of age participated in the three zones, who played 18 holes under Stroke Play Scratch for the Cadet, Infant and Alevines categories, and 9 holes for the benjamín category.

As for the winners, in the Almeria course of Almerimar, Lourdes García (player of the Benahavís Club) and Alejandro García, of Santa Clara Granada, were proclaimed champions in the Alevín Male and Female categories with 90 and 87 strokes respectively.

In the Children’s category, El Paraíso’s María Contreras -who delivered a card of 78 strokes- and Gonzalo Maldonado, from La Envía, won with a total of 77 strokes.

On the other hand, Gonzalo García Parada, a player from El Candado (Malaga), led the Cadet Male classification with 76 strokes.

José Manuel Berenguel was proclaimed champion among the Benjamins with 45 strokes, after playing a round of 9 holes.

In the central area, Baviera Golf, Daniel Casas -from Benalmádena Golf- and Evelina Stanikova -from Guadalmina- won with 80 and 83 strokes respectively. Among the children, the player from Añoreta, Ángel Manuel Rodríguez and the player from La Cañada, Mimí Rhodes, won with 74 and 76 strokes.

Moving on to the Cadets, the Malaga player from Guadalmina, Angel Hidalgo, and the player from Guadalhorce, Pilar Martinez, won with 73 and 75 strokes.

As for the juniors, the first classified were the players from La Cañada, Patience Rhodes and Ángel Ayora, with 46 and 41 strokes in the 9 holes played.

Finally, in Islantilla, players from Bellavista and Real Club de Sevilla shone. Thus, Lucas Lopez and the player of the Real Club de Sevilla, Ana Amalia Pina, were proclaimed champions in the Alevín category with 81 and 86 strokes. In the infantile category, Ignacio Puente – also from the Real Club de Sevilla – signed the best result of the day, 73 strokes that proclaimed him champion. In the female infantile category, Esperanza Serrano -from Bellavista-, was the first classified with 78 strokes.

Another player from Bellavista, Sergio Ronchel, leads the Cadet Men’s classification with 75 strokes, and Marta Ayala, from Real de Sevilla, took the victory in the women’s category with 82 strokes.

As for the juniors, the first places went to Juan Pedro Ramirez -from La Cañada- with 49 strokes and Paola Rodriguez, from La Monacilla who, with 62 strokes, was the only female participant.
