Spontaneity is a luxury that few can enjoy without limits. And those who enjoy the freedom to soar instantly will not find an automobile
more appetizing for it than the Continental GT.
Lovers of the most exquisite sensations will find in the Continental range a Gran Turismo model to suit their expectations, from the perfection of the Continental GT V8 and its sporty counterpart, the V8 S, to the power and luxury of the Continental GT W12 or the impressive GT Speed.
The Continental, with its sleek, updated design, incorporates a number of new, handcrafted options.
Convertible or coupe?
It’s a terse question, but one with enormous implications. Both body styles give the car an impressive silhouette, and both command respect when viewed from any height or angle. But the question is not so much what you want your Continental to look like, but what you want it to feel like to drive.
It can be argued that the coupe is the classic Continental model. But also that a convertible model is the only one that allows you to truly appreciate the road, and its firm, four-layer electric roof so soundproofs the cabin that you’ll have difficulty distinguishing the two models.
The Continental GT V8
It is the Continental model par excellence. The GT V8 is a car created for those who wish to experience Gran Turismo in its truest form. Its 4-liter, twin-turbocharged engine produces 507 hp and delivers the powerful roar you would expect from a V8 powerplant. Inside, however, many more surprises await than the exquisite sound of its exhaust system.
Straight-ribbed seating gives the luxurious interior a sleek contemporary style. The metallic elements of the center console contrast with the Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneers that surround the cabin, while the rear console storage space has been redesigned to increase its capacity and accommodate a greater number of travel accessories.
The exterior of the Continental GT V8 clearly shows its lineage: the bright chrome matrix grille, the dark red Bentley badges and the stainless steel double eight-shaped tailpipe make it the epitome of luxury Grand Touring.
The Continental GT V8 S
The GT V8 S brings a decidedly sporty feel to the Continental range, which translates into acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds thanks to its 528 hp.
The sport suspension, whose ride height is 10 millimeters lower than that of the standard Continental model, makes driving an experience to remember, an effect enhanced by the addition of Bentley’s three-spoke sports steering wheel and which the car’s appearance only corroborates.
The gloss black finish of its side sills, rear diffuser and front splitter give the car a more purposeful presence, while the red-painted brake calipers, visible through the 20-inch open-spoke wheels, complement the distinctive red Bentley V8s.
The Continental GT
The GT is the ideal vehicle for drivers who want performance and refinement in equal measure. Its 6-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 engine delivers 720 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm, allowing it to accelerate effortlessly from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds thanks to its 590 horsepower.
Sitting inside, the luxurious nature of Bentley design is revealed in all its splendor: an impeccable combination of natural materials and fine craftsmanship, from the hand-stitched leathers and polished wood veneers to the dashboard-mounted clock, in a car that combines power and refinement in equal measure.
The Continental GT Speed
The most powerful and exquisite Contiental. Nothing can compare to a GT Speed, an exquisitely crafted automobile that provides the most exhilarating driving sensations.
The exclusive 21″ dark-toned wheels, matching the dark tone of the lights and front grilles, let you guess the power hidden inside. Its 6-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 engine, capable of propelling the vehicle with its 635 hp to 331 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, makes it the fastest touring car ever made by Bentley, a sensation that its lower ride height only enhances.
Luxury and dynamism go hand in hand throughout the cabin. The sporty steering wheel is hand-upholstered in the same leather as the seats and side panels padded with diamond-shaped motifs. The aluminum running boards are engraved with the Speed logo, matching the Speed logos embroidered on the headrests.
The design is completed by perforated alloy sport pedals and a delicately finished gearshift lever.
