The commitment of Turismo Costa del Sol to the promotion of golf as a tourist activity has been reinforced once again with the recent sponsorship of the Costa del Sol Tournament, organized by Golf with Frosch. The event took place at the prestigious Club Campestre Guaymaral in Colombia, attracted an outstanding participation of up to 100 amateur players.
Antonio Díaz, managing director of Turismo Costa del Sol, highlighted the strategic importance of this sponsorship: “Being present in golf tournaments in key markets such as Colombia is fundamental to promote the image of the province of Málaga as a reference destination for lovers of this sport and for those looking for high quality tourist experiences”.
The Costa del Sol Tournament, with its stroke play format, provided an ideal platform to showcase the Costa del Sol – Costa del Golf brand in one of the most important golf source markets in Latin America, which is also experiencing significant growth in golf tourism. In addition, this collaboration offers additional visibility in the United States, as Golf with Frosch’s parent company is based in the U.S.
Costa del Sol had extensive brand exposure during the event. From presence at the save the date to inclusion in tournament promotional materials such as banners, lunch tables and welcome kits, the Costa del Sol – Costa del Golf brand was present in every aspect of the event, both before, during and after the tournament.
