Enelis Martín Vivaldi, the young director of Greenlife Golf is proud that this 9-hole par 3 course is a reference on the Costa del Sol.

“We are,” he says, “an emblematic 9-hole course because of the characteristics of the course, its location and maintenance. All the holes are of medium size, from 100 meters up to almost 170 meters, very technical and demanding”.

-By technical, do you mean complicated?

-Yes, in a way. They involve some difficulty because despite being par 3s and, supposedly, easier holes, the fairways here are not simple at all. They are generally narrow, with abundant water and out of bounds. You have to be very precise in your shot.

-Is it an attractive course for any type of player?

-Of course. It is not a long course, so it is ideal for beginners, and also for those who have a higher level of play due to the characteristics I have mentioned. The greens are wide and without complicated accesses.

-Here, urbanization does not interfere in the game….

-No, not at all. Only in holes 1 and 2 you can see houses, without affecting anything, and in the rest of the course you can hardly see the urbanization. The fairways run in the middle of nature.

-Perhaps the image that most defines this course is the large lake in front of the clubhouse, which is also one of the most modern and functional on the Costa del Sol?

-This large lake, in addition to aesthetics, provides difficulty to hole 2 fundamentally, since it is next to the green of that hole.

Your clubhouse is home to the El Lago restaurant, one of the few Michelin-starred restaurants in Marbella…

-We got the star some time ago and we still have it. That means that we have to strive every day to be on the crest of the gastronomic wave.

This year we have included some new features to attract even more food lovers. Our customers can enter the kitchen and prepare their own dinner together with our chef, Diego del Río. It is a new formula that is proving to be quite successful and brings haute cuisine closer to anyone who wants to get to know it better.
