The prestigious Finca Cortesinthe venue of the 2023 Solheim Cup and three editions of the Volvo World Match Play Championship, will host the first round of the XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF TOUR Destino Dominican Republic by Globalia on Saturday, February 17.
There are 25 tournaments that make up the fourteenth edition of this open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit will cover most of the Andalusian provinces, as well as others in central Spain, with most of the events taking place on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.
The grand final of the circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean will be chosen, will be playedon September 23rd and will be followed by a gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús in Marbella.
Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded on the basis of theranking based on the points obtained in each event.
The Finca Cortesín tournament will have important prizes for the scratch winner and the first three classified in each category, as well as for the ball closest to the flag. Tee-off at 9.30 am. The registration fee for the tournament is 195 euros and includes buggy, welcome pack, prize-giving cocktail and gift raffle.
FIELD DESCRIPTION

This splendid Costa Rican course in the municipality of Casares has hosted numerous high-profile tournaments, including the 2023 Solheim Cup and the Volvo World Match Play Championship on three occasions (2009, 2011 and 2012), two of the most prestigious professional golf competitions in the world.
