Nearly two million euros has been the amount generated by Golfspain (www.golfspain.com) as an online green fee booking tour operator to Spanish golf clubs during the 2018 financial year, a record figure that highlights the vigor of this Internet sales channel.
Andalusia, with more than one million euros, and the Valencian Community, with 500,000 euros, are the destinations with the most online activity in a period in which the Balearic Islands and Catalonia have experienced significant improvements over previous years.
Golfspain, a leading technology company in the golf course management sector in Spain, has facilitated over time a secure and fluid relationship between golf clubs and their many customers, who have at their disposal reliable, convenient and simple tools to book green fees online 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Ricardo Pascual, General Manager of Golfspain, assures that “in addition to the four Autonomous Communities mentioned above, we are aware that the potential and margin for growth in other areas of Spain is very large, so we are willing to invest and help as much as possible to reaffirm our golf clubs as a preferred destination for foreign players”.
“We are confident that 2019 is going to be a clearly better year, and although it is true that there are emerging destinations, such as Morocco, that are doing very well, between all of us we have to try to be better than them,” adds Ricardo Pascual, who shows his satisfaction for generating that volume of business to the clubs that have been relying on Golfspain’s technology for years.
