Infinitum, home of the European Tour Qualifying School finals, has further cemented its commitment to providing an exceptional lifestyle and playing experience by becoming the only club to be named Best Golf Resort in Europe three years in a row at the World Golf Awards.
Since its launch in July, the resort has continued to improve its facilities and services on and off the course, relaunching its restaurants and renovating its facilities, resulting in the resort receiving this important international recognition within the golf industry.
As the Best Golf Resort in Europe, the resort offers unique activities and experiences for both its domestic and international clients. One of its three courses, Hills, has recently been included in Golf World’s “100 Best Golf Courses in Continental Europe” for the first time, reinforcing its position as one of the most exciting courses in Spain.
The new strategic vision and commitment to the environment, backed by the recruitment of top professionals within the golf industry, also help transform Infinitum into Europe’s most sustainable golf resort. The resort is engaged in projects to reduce its overall impact on the environment, while finding new and innovative ways to improve its maintenance processes.
Having achieved GEO Certification for the second time through its “eco-first” strategy, Infinitum recently announced the installation of 535 solar panels on the roof of its desalination plant to run the facility on renewable energy during daylight hours.
Valuing the latest series of awards received by Infinitum, Agustín García Pascual, Infinitum’s Business Director, said: “We are pleased to announce that Infinitum has received a number of awards. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better start to our journey as Infinitum. Since launching in July, our team has worked exceptionally hard to improve the quality of the standards and facilities that are available to guests all year round. Our ambition is to present golfers and non-golfers with the best possible experience and, as part of this, it’s great to see Hills rewarded.
“This is just the beginning of our journey. Each year we will look to improve and raise the benchmark for hospitality and service within the industry, both in Spain and Europe. We are excited to welcome the best golfers in Europe next year, and to be able to unveil some of the exciting projects that are planned for the resort.
In addition to world-class golf courses and contemporary gastronomy, the resort also boasts one of Spain’s finest Beach Clubs, nestled among pine trees overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, with state-of-the-art facilities including seven swimming pools spread over multiple areas, a tapas bar and a flagship restaurant: Flamma Beach Foodhouse.
