Islantilla Golf Resort is an exclusive four-star resort located in Islantilla (Huelva), in a privileged area, in the center of its own golf course and only 700 meters from the beach.
The hotel, a paradise of relaxation, beauty and harmony, has 97 double rooms, 88 Junior Suites, 7 Senior Suites and 12 Bungalows. With a pleasant and modern decoration, they are equipped with bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, internet connection, safe, air conditioning, minibar, balcony or terrace. The rooms enjoy magnificent views of the golf course and the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel has three multi-purpose rooms, equipped with all the facilities for events and conventions, with a capacity of up to 120 people.
Golf course
The Islantilla Golf Resort golf course was inaugurated in 1992 and since then it has become one of the best and best known Spanish courses in Europe. It has 27 holes, with three different courses surrounded by lush vegetation and stunning sea views. Its careful design and its Pencross greens and Agrostis fairways give the course a great quality and variety.
The gentle slopes, water, landscape and weather conditions make golf a real pleasure for all types of players. The challenge is up to each player.
The course has three different 18-hole options for three different types of play: Blue Course, designed for players with low handicaps; Yellow Course, simpler and ideal for high handicaps; and Green Course, which combines length and accuracy and is ideal for medium handicaps.
Golf school
“The main success of the learning process lies in the rapport between the patience and confidence of the coach and the dedication and skill of the golfer”. Following this concept makes the courses taught at this resort different. The programs are designed for different ages and all levels of play, from beginners to professionals. The practice area is undoubtedly one of the most spacious and best equipped in the whole province of Huelva, including a driving range, two putting greens and a pitching area with different bunkers.
Beach Club
It is located on the beachfront of La Antilla and 900 m. from the hotel. It has a swimming pool for adults and another one for children, solarium, terrace, cafeteria-restaurant, sailing club, water sports, hammocks on the beach… everything you need to spend a perfect day at the beach.
The Beach Club is perfectly connected to the hotel by a mini-train, which covers the round trip services for guests staying at the Islantilla Golf Resort.
Sailing School
The direction of the Sailing School is in charge of Fernando Serra Lalaurie, 37 years old and Spanish Windsurfing Champion in 1993. He is an instructor of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation in the modalities of Dinghy Sailing, Windsurfing and Kitesurfing. He has more than 29 years of experience in the sailing world and 17 years dedicated to teaching.
Spa, relaxation, health and wellness
The Spa, a center that integrates health and beauty where you can combine exercises and body treatments to help improve your quality of life, toning and relaxing your body and freeing your mind from everyday problems. In addition to an indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, there are Turkish baths, hydromassage showers, a hairdresser and a gymnasium. Relaxation, health and wellness are within reach.
