Javier Reviriego Bóveda, CEO of Real Club Valderrama, is the first European to join the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board. This Council is comprised of sixteen CEOs who have achieved Platinum status with Platinum Clubs of the World throughout their careers and manage some of the world’s most prestigious private clubs. The Advisory Council provides guidance and experienced oversight of the Platinum Clubs of the World and America’s Platinum Clubs rankings, as well as, the various services provided by the Club Leaders Forum.
Platinum Clubs of the World recognizes excellence in golf clubs. For more than twenty years it has been considered the most prestigious recognition in the golf industry. The six selection criteria for Platinum Clubs of the World are prestige and worldwide recognition, excellence in facilities, professional service, quality of membership, governance structure and professional management.
With more than twenty years of experience in the golf industry, Javier Reviriego has been at the helm of Real Club Valderrama for eight years and previously managed Finca Cortesín.
The Real Club Valderrama boasts the most brilliant resume in Spain as a venue for major international competitions, having hosted the Ryder Cup, the Am-Ex World Championships, the Volvo Masters, the Open de España and the Valderrama Masters, among others.
