Until now he had not flaunted his wealth, which is already considerable despite the fact that this is his first full-fledged season on the American Tour, the PGA Tour, but Jon Rahm has decided to treat himself to a Porsche. The 21-year-old Biscayan player made his professional debut after having played the US Open as an amateur this year, and then participated by invitation in several PGA Tour tournaments.
Rahm has earned since his professional debut just over $1,100,000, $96,000 of which he pocketed at the tournament he played this 2016/2017 season, released this month. In the seven tournaments he played in the previous season he amassed €1 million. Apart from his earnings in competitions on the PGA Tour, Rahm is supposed to obtain a succulent income as the image of several golf brands.
“I’m not sure my parents like this very much,” he said, referring to the fact that he bought the Porsche, of which he did not want to reveal the model, so as not to boast about it.
