The La Cala 2026 tournament offered a highly competitive day within the SAN MIGUEL XVI ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE COSTA DEL SOL DESTINATION DOMINICAN REPUBLIC BY GLOBALIA, with 106 players competing on a course presented in impeccable condition.
With perfect spring weather, the event stood out both for the number of participants and the high level of play, once again establishing this venue as one of the most attractive on the circuit.

The results of this La Cala event were defined by a course in excellent condition, featuring firm and fast greens, a signature of the resort and the designs by Cabell Robinson.On this occasion, the competition took place on the América course, one of the resort’s three courses—alongside Asia and Europe—offering a challenging and visually striking layout for players of all levels. The competition was played with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m., allowing for a smooth and uniform pace for all participants. It is worth noting that all spots were filled well in advance, with no absences, reflecting the high interest each La Cala tournament generates within the circuit.

Beyond the results, the La Cala tournament offered a full experience for the players, who enjoyed a post-competition cocktail before the awards ceremony and prize draw.During the event, participants filled out the Air Europa SUMA program cards, competing for an additional spot in the Circuit Final.
The Final will take place on September 19 at Hacienda Alcaidesa Heathland, with an extra spot also to be drawn among the finalists, whose winners will be announced during the closing dinner at the Hotel Occidental Puerto Banús – Barceló.
Throughout the day, players enjoyed products from sponsors such as San Miguel Beers and Solán de Cabras.
