La Reserva Club de Sotogrande was the magnificent setting for the tenth and last race before the grand finale of the Andalucía Golf Challenge 2019 Destination Riviera Maya Golf Club Bahia Principe in Mexico. A total of 92 players teed off on a sunny day with some Levante wind, which did not prevent good results. The course, which recently hosted the La Reserva Club Invitational of the European Women’s Tour, hosted by Annika Sorenstam, was as always in splendid condition. conditions and garnered widespread praise.
As in all the events of this year’s circuit organized by Andalucía Golf/España Golf and sponsored by Riviera Maya Bahía Príncipe, Exxacon and Reale-Galpe, the tournament was attended by both Spanish and foreign players in a phenomenal cosmopolitan atmosphere. After the competition, a cocktail reception was served at the spectacular La Reserva clubhouse, followed by the awards ceremony and gift raffle.
Apart from the prizes for each tournament (premium branded clothing from the fairway+blue store, D.O. Somontano wines, Holiday Golf sports equipment, etc.), the top five finishers in each category plus the scratch winner obtained a place to play in the Circuit final (September 7 at Alferini Villa Padierna) and thus opt for one of the five trips to the Riviera Maya for a week that includes flight, hotel (Luxury Bahía Príncipe Sian Ka’an *****) and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: Riviera Maya Golf, El Camaleón Mayakoba and Playa Paraíso.
The top five classified in La Reserva Club in first category were, in this order, the following: José Manuel Saiz, with 38 points, Pelayo Jiménez Menéndez (37), Francisco López Castro (37), Mónica Maldonado Luna (36) and Francisco Corsini Freese (36).
In the second category, the top five were Gustavo Teruel Prieto (44), Javier Burgués Hoyos (40), Enric Meier Roig (38), Salvador García Ramírez (36) and Esteban Rodríguez Sevillano (36).
The scratch winner was Pelayo Jiménez Menéndez. The prize for the closest ball went to José Valiente, while the prize for the longest drive went to Lucía Alonso Olarra and Jorge Alonso Martín.

ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE 2019 CIRCUIT
The Grand Final of the Andalucía Golf Challenge Destination Riviera Maya Golf Club Bahia Principe Circuit will be played on September 7 at Alferini (Villa Padierna Golf Resort). The top five in each category in each tournament qualify for the Grand Final, where the five one-week all-inclusive trips to Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort, with golf at Riviera Maya Golf Club, El Camaleón Mayakoba and Playa Paraíso, will be decided. This trip will take place on October 27th.
