Donald Trump made it out onto the fairways last Friday for what was reportedly his first round of golf since being elected US President. And he was in good company. One of his playing partners was Tiger Woods who, according to a Fox News correspondent, suggested the round. In both cases it was one of their few rounds in 2016. "He hasn't played much," a senior Trump transition official said. "Maybe once or twice but very little."

Of course there was much speculation about their scores and conversation. Joked one golf journalist, Eamon Lynch, on Twitter…

Trump: Hey, I won a national title this year! Tiger: I've been to S.E.A.L boot camp so I've attended more military briefings.
