Some of their names might not be all that familiar to many of us on the European side of the Atlantic, especially if we don’t follow American football or baseball. Nevertheless, the 2017 tournament starting this week once again includes a strong contingent of A-Listers well known among international golf fans.

They are led by the irrepressible Bill Murray, seeking his second pro-am title at Pebble Beach, and include musicians Huey Lewis, Justin Timberlake and Kenny G, actors Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg, former tennis star Andy Roddick and world champion surfer Kelly Slater, and model/actress Kelly Rohrbach.

Also in the field will be former ice hockey pro Wayne Gretzky, presumably partnered with future son-in-law Dustin Johnson (even though last year they missed the cut together).

Vaughan Taylor won the professional title in 2016, and also teamed with amateur Gregg Ontiveros (CEO of Group O) to prevail in the pro-am.
