Marbella Club Golf Resort hosted another hugely successful leg of the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, with numerous players left on the waiting list and unable to enjoy this magnificent course, as well as excellent weather conditions. Even after a week of rain, the course was still in great shape, with no playing limitations.
Designed by Dave Thomas (whose other projects include San Roque Old and famous Ryder Cup venue The Belfry), Marbella Club course is one of the finest courses in Benahavís and throughout the Costa del Sol – masterfully managed by Rod Bastard, a regular contributor to our magazine.
The players were provided with buggies and practice balls courtesy of the club, and they were looked after impeccably by Salvador López Perea, who was attentive to their needs at all times.
This exclusive resort is perfectly complemented by one of the most luxurious and renowned hotels on the Costa del Sol, Marbella Club on Marbella's Golden Mile.
After the competition a superb cocktail reception was catered for by Delicias Gourmet Group, who offered their customary high-quality products and service.
Once again, the top golf fashion shop in the area, Fairway-blue, presented the winners with garments from their Puerto Banús boutique.
