Atalaya Golf & Country Club’s Old Course on the Costa del Sol once again proved to be a resoundingly successful venue for the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE-Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia Circuit. As has become customary with this popular open amateur circuit, which this year is celebrating its 14th annual edition, tournament tee times at Atalaya were sold out well in advance

The renowned course managed by Andrés Sánchez was presented in excellent conditions. The tournament took place under a splendid sun, with perfect temperatures and none of the wind that had plagued the area during the previous few days.

The players enjoyed San Miguel beers and Solán de Cabras water at the 1st, 9th and 10th holes, as well as during the prize-giving lunch, held in the clubhouse’s magnificent restaurant, managed by Mirko Bogdanov.

The prize-giving ceremony was presided over by the recently elected president of the host club, Francisco Siconolfi, and was also attended by Gabriela Johne, from the Fairway+blue boutique, one of the Circuit's collaborating businesses.
