The excellent Santa María Golf course in Marbella has once again hosted a triumphant leg of the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE-Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia Circuit. A total of 106 players tee up in the event, all with buggies, and they were able to enjoy an incomparable course and weather. As has become customary on the Circuit, tournament places were sold out in advance. The course was in perfect condition, with superb greens.

A delicious lunch was served in the Hoyo 19 restaurant, overlooking the 1st tee and 18th green.  The prize-giving ceremony was presided over by club general manager Pedro Batista, and attended by Gabriela Jones of Fairway+blue, who brought apparel from her magnificent boutique located in Puerto Banús, which this year celebrates its 10th anniversary, and Jesús Porro, from inversionesparavagos.com. Both are two of the Circuit’s collaborating businesses.

The players enjoyed San Miguel beers during both the round and the lunch. The winners received crianza magnums from Bodegas Marqués de Terán, Bridgestone balls and Fairway+blue apparel. There were also special prizes from Dani García’s Tragabuches Restaurant and Bodegas Marqués de Terán, and a gifts raffle following the prize-giving ceremony.
