El magnífico Chaparral Golf, uno de los campos más atractivos de la Costa del Sol, ha sido escenario de la penúltima prueba clasificatoria del XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’. El Circuito disputará su último torneo previo a la final el próximo sábado 7 en Maioris, Mallorca. La final tendrá como escenario Los Arqueros, diseño de Seve Ballesteros, el 28 de septiembre.

Cabe reseñar que los participantes en el torneo de Chaparral tuvieron la fortuna de jugar los 18 hoyos del campo, ya que 9 de ellos habían permanecido cerrados hasta este evento del Circuito debido a obras en urbanizaciones adyacentes con algunas conducciones que tenían que atravesar el campo de golf.

Al igual que en la inmensa mayoría de los torneos del Circuito, en Chaparral se registró un lleno total y se agotaron las plazas con antelación. Los jugadores pudieron combatir el calor reinante con dos puntos de bebidas en los hoyos 1 y 9 donde se sirvieron cervezas San Miguel y agua Solán de Cabras. Tras la competición hubo un cóctel en la casa club y se procedió a la entrega de premios y sorteo.

The XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’ is an open amateur circuit organised by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit covers all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.

The grand final of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played on 28th September at Los Arqueros and will be followed by a gala dinner in Marbella.

Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded on the basis of the Benahavís Ranking based on the points obtained in each event.

The next round of the Circuit will take place on 7th September at Maioris (Mallorca).

TRIP TO DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
The Grand Final of the Circuit will decide the 5 one week trips with flights, all inclusive accommodation at the 5 star hotel Sunscape Dominicus La Romana and golf at the spectacular Teeth of the Dog, Punta Espada, Dye Fore and PGAOcean's 4. The Grand Final will be played on 28th September and will be followed by a Gala Dinner in Marbella.

All players on the Tour will be able to participate in the draw for 2 extra places to accompany the 5 winners of the trips to the Dominican Republic.
