The splendid Mallorcan course Golf Mairoris has been the setting for the last qualifying phase of the XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’. The final of this open amateur circuit will be held at Los Arqueros, Seve Ballesteros' design on the Costa del Sol, on September 28th.

(SEE PHOTO GALLERY OF THE TOURNAMENT AT THE END OF THE ARTICLE).

Maioris is the longest golf course in Mallorca, a very interesting layout, with the first nine holes on flatter, classic British-style terrain, and the second nine holes in American parkland style. Fantastic atmosphere and excellent weather combined with a great course for the enjoyment of all participants. The course is perfectly walkable and no buggy is required. The tournament was a great success in terms of participation.

Players refreshed themselves on the course with San Miguel beers and Solán de Cabras water, and also during the fantastic cocktail party served in the clubhouse, with the invaluable help of Anette, the club's catering manager at the helm of the T19 Restobar restaurant.

The prize giving was presented by the general manager of Golf Maioris, Mario Hidalgo, who also donated a flight for two people to any European destination operated by Air Europa.
