
Golfy, France’s leading golf operator with 45,000 members, has added three establishments in the province of Cadiz to its catalog. These are the Montecastillo Resort, the Montenmedio golf course (pictured) and the Hotel Meliá Sancti Petri, as a partner hotel. The operator has thanked the support of the Patronato Provincial de Turismo and especially the deputy Alejandro Sanchez. According to the president of Golfy, Alain Jeanjean, the province is its first target in Andalusia. With the help of Viajes Torrestrella, receptive and delegate in the region, Golfy plans to increase its presence in the province with the accession of other golf courses. Golfy is the first French golf operator, created by Alain Jeanjean in 1990, and has 106 associated golf courses in France, 5 in Belgium, 3 in the United Kingdom and 9 in Spain. China, Mauritius and Morocco are also countries where Golfy operates. In addition to golf courses, the tour operator works with 76 partner hotels in various countries, mainly in France. Golfy has 45,000 members, who benefit from discounts at all of the network’s partner courses and hotels. In May, the first Golfy Cup Andalucía will be held at the Montecastillo and Montenmedio golf courses, where a massive participation is expected.
