The Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros and located in the Costa del Sol municipality of Benahavís, has once again hosted with great success a tournament of the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, which this year has five golf trips to the Riviera Maya as prizes for the grand finale.
Proof of the great reception of this course is thatregistrations were completed well in advance of the tournament date and there were players on the waiting list.
The course was presented in perfect conditions, and after the competition a meal was served on the terrace of the club and the awards ceremony, which was presented by Antonio Lantero, director of Los Arqueros, and Stefan Tjellander, president of the Holiday Golf group of companies.

The scratch winners and the first and second category winners won a place in the final of the Circuit, where the fabulous five trips to the Riviera Maya to be held next October will be decided. The final will be played on September 30 in Almenara.

The XIII Andalucía Golf Challenge ‘Destino PGA Riviera Maya by Bahía Príncipe’ is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf/España Golf that travels through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as others in central Spain, with most of the events taking place on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.
The grand final of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Mexican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played on September 30 in Almenara and will be followed by a gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús in Marbella.
Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded on the basis of the Benahavís Ranking based on the points obtained in each event.
The next appointment of the Circuit is on July 28 in Los Arqueros, while in August the tournaments will be held on the 5th in Novo Sancti Petri and on the 17th in El Paraíso.

DESTINATION PGA RIVIERA MAYA by BAHÍA PRÍNCIPE
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on September 30 in Almenara, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean.
