
Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero and Belén Amorós have won the Memorial Norberto Goizueta, a scoring event for the Men’s and Women’s Ranking of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, which concluded today at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina and was played over 72 holes in Stroke Play Scratch mode.
In the men’s category, the player of the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla, Pablo Rodríguez-Tabernero, has won with a total of 284 strokes (-4) and after having signed today a round of 74. Meanwhile, the player of SIGA-Sotogrande, Calvin Greschner, who, with a final round of 70 strokes, has pursued the triumph until the last moment, has been proclaimed runner-up with only one stroke more than the Sevillian, 285 total (-3).
In third place finished the player from Guadalmina, Antonio Cruz-Conde, who signed a total of 287 strokes (-1).
As for the women’s classification, the victory went to the Valencian Belén Amorós, who finished with a total of 298 strokes (+10) and six strokes ahead of the member of the Bellavista Golf Club, Esperanza Serrano. With one stroke more, she was followed in third place by Lucila Puente, from the Real Club de Golf de Sevilla.
Eduardo Corsini, from Madrid, with 294 strokes (+6), was proclaimed champion in the Mid-Amateur category.
Finally, the winners in the handicap classifications were the Bil Bil Golf player, Javier Quero -with 280 net strokes (-8)- and the Novo Sancti Petri member, Isabel Marín, with 283 net strokes.
The awards ceremony was attended by Mr. Fernando Goizueta, son of Mr. Norberto Goizueta and Medal of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ángel de la Riva, President of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; Mr. Ignacio Iturbe, Delegate in Malaga of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation and Assistant to the Presidency; Mr. Marc Mueller, Junior Delegate of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina; Mr. Ignacio del Cuvillo, Director of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina; and Mr. Rafael Toval, referee of the tournament.
