Patricia Márquez Sanjuán has lifted the title of champion of Andalusia Pitch & Putt 2014 in a competition held in one day at the excellent course of Aloha Golf Club. The Malaga player of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina presented a card of 52 strokes (2 under par) and overcame by the minimum to Nerea Domínguez Ariza y Sara Navarro Morillawinners of the Junior and Senior categories, respectively.
It is worth remembering that in the last edition, played in this same course, Sara Navarro won brilliantly after a round of 50 strokes (-4).
On the other hand, as for the handicap classifications, Valentina Albertazzi, tied at 53 net strokes with Ubaldina Campos Torres, and Ana Belén Morales Izquierdo, with a score of 46 strokes, won the first and second categories.
In addition, Valentina Albertazzi also received the prize in the Under 16 category thanks to a round of 55 strokes.
Pitch & Putt for over 35 years of age
On the other hand, Jacobo Cestino Castilla has not given place to the surprise and has achieved the victory in the inaugural edition of the Andalusian Pitch & Putt Championship for over 35 years old, tournament played a day in the magnificent course of Aloha Golf Club in Costa del Sol.
The player from Malaga delivered an extraordinary round of 50 strokes at the clubhouse with four birdies without errors and was two ahead of Tim Waller, who led the Non-Senior category.
With this triumph, Jacobo Cestino achieves his particular triplet, as he is the current Andalusian champion of the Over 35 years in long course, and also won the national competition in 2012.
As for the rest of the winners, José López Moncayo won the Senior category with a round of 54 strokes (par).
As regards the handicap classifications, Marc Mueller-Baumgart, equal at 54 net strokes with José Espinosa Cuevas and Giovanni Albertazzi, was the best in the first category.
In second, José Luis Ruiz Navarrete finished at the top of the table with a score of 53 strokes.
At the awards ceremony of the Andalusian Pitch & Putt Championship for Over 35 years were present, among others, Antonio Fuentes, Acting President of the Pitch & Putt Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Rafael García Buitrago, Director of Aloha Golf Club.
