Patrick Koenig, ECCO GOLF ambassador, today broke the world record for most 18-hole courses played in a single year by completing his 450th course on the 18th hole this year.
Koenig’s extraordinary journey, ‘The RGV Tour 2.0’, has been a monumental effort: he originally set a goal of playing a staggering 500 golf courses over a 365-day period, and is set to complete that tally before the end of the Tour in January.
His passion and determination have now rewritten the record books, surpassing the previous record of 449 fields, set in 2009.
Throughout the challenge, Koenig relied exclusively on ECCO GOLF shoes and took full advantage of the brand’s exceptional comfort and durability during the world record attempt.
