The Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, undoubtedly one of the best courses in Spain and one of the greatest in Europe, has once again been the spectacular setting for the Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit, which this year celebrates its eleventh edition and has as its grand final prize five one-week trips to Riviera Maya in Mexico, including flights, transfers, five-star all-inclusive hotel and golf at three of the best courses in the Caribbean: PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleón Mayacoba and Playa Paraíso.
The tournament, twelfth of the twenty that make up the Tour calendar this year, was played over two days with sunny weather with more heat on the first day and somewhat less in the second and little wind. The course, as always, was in magnificent condition.
As in the previous two years, this open amateur circuit will be open to organized by Andalucía Golf/España Golf magazine. has as a final prize five trips to the Caribbean from the hand of the Piñero Group. In addition to the prizes for each tournament (premium branded apparel from the store Fairway+Blue of Puerto Banús, wines from Bodegas Lau D.O. Somontanosports equipment from Holiday Golf, etc.), the first classified in each category plus the scratch winner of each tournament get a direct place to play the grand final of the Circuit at the Marbella Golf Resort on October 2, with the closing dinner of the circuit at the restaurant El Gamonal in Marbella and thus opt for one of the five trips to Riviera Maya for a week. The remaining places for the final game are obtained based on a ranking based on the points obtained in the tournaments played.
In terms of sporting results, in the first category, the first three classified were Rafael Navarro Serrato (42 points), Álvaro Marañón Mora (42) and Pablo Ridao Ceballos (39).
The top three in second category were the following: Juan Palomo Marín (45 points), José Luis Rodríguez Rodríguez (42) and Arantza Samper Orbe (40).
The scratch winner at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande was, with 42 scratch points, Rafael Jorge Bernaldo de Quirós Loring, who also won the special prize for the closest ball to the flag. The prize for the longest drive for ladies went to Ana María López Moya, and the longest drive for gentlemen went to Joaquín Crespo Alcalá.

The trip to the Riviera Maya is scheduled for November 5-13 of this year. On Saturday 6th the PGA Riviera Maya will be played, on Sunday 7th Mayakoba will be visited to watch the last day of the Mayakoba Golf Classic, a PGA Tour event, on Monday 8th Playa Paraiso will be played, Tuesday 9th will be free, on Wednesday 10th Mayakoba El Camaleón will be played (three days after the PGA Tour professionals have competed), Thursday 11th will be free and on Friday 12th the PGA Riviera Maya will be played and in the evening the flight back to Spain will be taken.

PGA RIVIERA MAYA BAHIA PRINCIPE DESTINATION
The Grand Final of the Circuit will determine the five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in Riviera Maya (Luxury Akumal hotel) with golf at PGA Riviera Maya, El Camaleon Mayakoba, and Playa Paraiso. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final, to be played on October 2 at Marbella Club Golf Resort, will travel to the Mexican Caribbean.
