Russian investors interested in the Golden Triangle

The General Director of Barcelona Meeting Point, José María Pons, and the President of the Andalusian Federation of Developers and Residential Tourism and owner of the Hotel Villa Padierna Palace, Ricardo Arranz, presented yesterday morning before 20 media and about thirty businessmen the first edition of ‘The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella’ which is organized by Barcelona Meeting Point. The aim of this important event, which will take place at the Hotel Villa Padierna Palace from March 14 to 16, is to put in contact a hundred Russian investors and APIs with businessmen of the “Golden Triangle”, an axis that includes the towns of Marbella, Estepona and Benhavís, in order to provide an outlet for the stock of available homes in the area.

José María Pons, General Director of Barcelona Meeting Point, explained that “‘The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella’ is a meeting between a hundred Russian investors and real estate agents and businessmen from the Golden Triangle who want to sell directly to the most important investment groups that exist today in Europe”. Pons added that “this is not a typical real estate fair but a very exclusive event, with special emphasis on private meetings between exhibitors and investors, and which has the added advantage that the Russian investors who attend will be able to visit the properties they are interested in after the face-to-face meetings they have with the businessmen”. In ‘The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella’ will also be held round tables on key issues such as how to sell real estate to Russian investors.

Thirty Spanish companies will be able to participate in the event, which will have to pay €6,000 in advance, and will be provided with a list of Russian investors as of February 10 “so that they can plan their visit and know which properties they have exclusively for sale or which property one is selling,” said José María Pons.

The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella’ is the result of the success obtained last October at Barcelona Meeting Point of the “Cluster” Russian Meeting Point, a space created for interaction and contacts between Spaniards and Russians. This event was attended by a large number of Russian investors and real estate agents who carried out a large number of transactions. This presence was due to the relationship that BMP has established with the Russian Real Estate Associations since it organized the Expo “Spain Today: Living and Innovating” in Moscow last March on the occasion of the “Year of Spain in Russia”, which was a great success and served to increase relations between the two countries.

The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella will have an area of 500 square meters with four different spaces:

A “business lounge” area. It will be a “closed” area, where the cafeteria will be located, to which only exhibitors and Russian investors and professionals will have access (free of charge). This is an area that Russian investors and professionals will use as if it were their stand, a place where they know they can meet with other professionals (Spanish and/or Russian) while having a coffee or a snack (free of charge) offered by the Organization.

A perimeter area of small stands or “sales spaces”. It is a space for exclusively 30 Spanish companies that want their real estate offer to be well visible to Russian investors-professionals.

A conference room where every day round tables will be held on key topics such as how to sell real estate to Russian investors.

Visits to exclusive properties on the Costa del Sol. The Russian Meeting Point in Marbella will organize visits to the most exclusive properties for sale on the Costa del Sol. These visits will be organized by the organization and the exhibitors themselves.
