Following the resounding success of last year’s Women’s Spanish Open in Aloha, the Ladies European Tour (LET) will return to the Costa del Sol in September. The Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España Femenino is scheduled for September 21-24 at a venue yet to be announced, as it appears in the calendar recently published by the Ladies European Tour. The tournament will distribute 300,000 euros in prize money.
Spain will host a second LET tournament this year: the Estrella Damm Mediterráneo Ladies Open, to be played at Terramar Golf Club in Sitges (south of Barcelona) from April 20-23.
A third LET event is to be confirmed for “southern Europe” in June, although the Tour has not indicated in which country it will be held.
