The first tournament of the ANDALUCIA TOUR SERIES 2016 trophy, will begin next August 20th at the Mijas Golf Club facilities. This is the first of more than 30 amateur tournaments that will be held over the next three years under the name of ANDALUCIA TOUR SERIES in courses throughout Spain and countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, France and Italy.
In annual editions, the players who win the different tournaments will face each other in the Final Master “ROAD TO ANDALUCIA” that in this year’s Series 2016 will be played at Torrequebrada Golf course on November 12th. All the winners of each Tournament will be invited to the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Reserva del Higuerón that weekend.
The ANDALUCIA TOUR SERIES is an amateur golf event that is born with the vocation to establish the highest quality standards in terms of those held between non-professional players, playing each Tournament in the best courses, with a dedicated organization, a high involvement with new technologies, each tournament will be broadcast live through social networks and through the “beon” application, which has thousands of users, and providing each Tournament with great prizes for the winners and raffles for all participants. For all this, more than 20 companies and institutions have supported the Tour with their sponsorships and collaborations in this first edition.
Throughout three Series, in 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Tournament will grow year by year, playing in a first Series in the most important courses in Malaga, to jump in subsequent years more important courses in Spain and finally include courses of the main countries interested in the offer of golf in Andalusia.
In all of them ANDALUCIA TOUR SERIES will become an ambassador of Andalusia as an ideal destination for golf lovers, for its wide variety of courses, its great cultural offer, its diverse hotel offer and its magnificent weather.
Registrations for the various tournaments can be made at the golf courses Mijas Golf, Cabopino Golf Marbella and Torrequebrada Golf, as well as on the web www.andaluciatourseries.com, the price per registration is 60 euros per player. Each player will have a shared buggy for each tournament and will receive a welcome pack including a technical polo shirt, a box of balls and other gifts.
