
The Boy, Girl, Cadete, Infantil, Alevín y Benjamín de Andalucía Circuit has celebrated a new tournament in the Almeria course of the Playa Serena Golf Club. This event, corresponding to the eastern part of Andalusia, has had the participation of 56 players aged between 18 and 9 years.
The great protagonist of the day was Luis Montoya López, winner in the Cadet Male category with the only round under par of the day (71 strokes).
The local players showed their perfect knowledge of the course and scored three victories with Marta López Echevarría (Alevín Femenino), José Manuel Berenguel Casas (Benjamín Masculino) and Enrique López Echevarría (Infantil Masculino) with rounds of 82, 50 and 76 strokes, respectively.
In the Boy category, Emilio Hernández Lirola won thanks to a good card of 75 strokes (+3).
Laura María Maldonado Romera (Girl) and Sara García Real (Female Cadet) won their corresponding classifications with identical rounds of 78 strokes.
Andrea López Hidalgo, who shot 82 strokes, gave no option to her rivals in the Infantile Female category.
Finally, Alejandro García Chacón was the best in the Alevín Male category after a score of 91 strokes.
Once this great day of golf was over, the awards ceremony began with the presence of Enrique López Monzó, President of the Playa Serena Golf Club; Francisco Javier Martín Mendoza, Director of the Almeria club; and Charo Echevarría Orihuela, Delegate of the Playa Serena Children’s Club.
The next rounds of the Boy, Girl, Cadete, Infantil, Alevín and Benjamín de Andalucía Circuit will take place on April 12 at Golf Nuevo Portil and Los Moriscos Club Golf, and on April 26 at Baviera Golf.
