The Andalusian Senior Circuit inaugurates its 2018 season in Almerimar

Once again, the Senior Circuit of Andalusia has broken participation records in the first event of this year 2018, which was held in Almerimar Golf, and in which a total of 120 players have participated, who have played 18 holes under stableford handicap mode and in six categories: three gentlemen, two ladies and one for over 70 years old.

Alain Nucera has won the first category of gentlemen, after signing a result of 35 points, the same as the player of La Envia, Juan Garcia de las Heras, whom he has overtaken according to the difference in handicap. The third place, after them, went to Manuel Cardona (Granada Club de Golf), with 34 points.

On the other hand, with 39 points, the local player, Juan Gonzalez, won the second men’s category, two points ahead of Jose Antonio Gallardo and eight points ahead of Jose Antonio Almansa, both players of the Real Club de Golf El Candado de Malaga.

As for the third category of gentlemen, the federated by the golf club La Envia, Luis Bueno, has accumulated 43 points to take first place, with only one more than Juan Carlos Espinosa (Miguel Angel Jimenez Golf School), who has taken second place. With 36, third place went to Juan Francisco Medina.

Moving on to the first ladies’ category, Julia Torres, federated by La Envía, was the best classified with 38 points, followed by Ana Mª Salvado -also federated by La Envía- and Concepción Sánchez (Granada Club de Golf), both with 34 points.

In the second ladies category, the local player, Marianne Liljedahi won with 35 points, the same as the second classified, Mª Elena Villalba. After them, Alicia Jiménez completed the podium with 34 points.

Finally, the Real Club de Golf Guadalhorce player, Julio Fernandez, was the best in the category of over 70 years with 37 points. After him, Bo Zaine and Antonio Ortiz have occupied the second and third position.
