The Junior and Benjamin Circuits, in Playa Serena and La Monacilla

More than 120 players under 18 years of age have participated today in the fourth round of the Circuitos Juvenil and Benjamín de Andalucía 2015, which has been played on the courses of Playa Serena (Roquetas de Mar) and La Monacilla (Huelva), under Stroke Play Scratch mode, playing 18 holes for the older players and 9 holes for the players in the benjamín category.

This fourth event of the season will be completed on May 31 with the celebration of a new test in La Cañada (San Roque – Cádiz).

As for today’s champions and starting with the results in Playa Serena, Adrian Bonilla and Marta Lopez Echevarria, were the champions in the fry category, with cards of 86 and 79 strokes, respectively.

As for the children’s category, Pablo Venegas was proclaimed champion in the men’s classification with 76 strokes. On the other hand, Marina Escobar, has topped the female classification with 79 strokes.

Among the youngest, José Manuel Berenguel, was the junior champion with 44 strokes.

The awards ceremony at Playa Serena was attended by Francisco Puente, President of the Children’s Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, and Francisco Javier Martín Mendoza, Director of Playa Serena.

Moving on to the classifications in the Huelva course of La Monacilla, Ana Amalia Pina and José Manuel Ortiz, both with 80 strokes, have been the champions among the fry, while Carmen Belmonte and Lucas Lopes, have won in the children’s category with 80 and 73 strokes, respectively.

Finally, Ali Berk and Cristina Albertazzi were the champions in the junior classification with 38 and 51 strokes.

Miguel Míguez, Member of the Children and Youth Committee of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, and Ricardo Bescansa, Manager of La Monacilla, presided over the prize-giving ceremony after the competition.
