The Recycling for You Circuit, underway
Sponsored by Acosol and the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol, the second edition of the Recycling for You Circuit, which consists of half a dozen tests in Costa del Sol fields, is already in full swing.
The America Course in La Cala, Mijas, hosted the first competition on April 30. Then, on May 1, it was the turn of Atalaya Old Course, in Estepona. The other venues of the circuit are La Duquesa (May 14), El Chaparral (June 11) and Finca Cortesín (June 25).
The registration fee is 50 euros and includes green fee, buggy, breakfast on the course, picnic, cocktail party and prize draw (equipment, golf trips, hotel stays, green fees, etc.).
There will also be a drawing for a golf car among those who manage to get a hole in one on the designated hole.
In each round there will be prizes for the longest ladies’ drive, longest men’s drive and closest ball, as well as a raffle for equipment, hotel stays and Green Fees.
The winners of the Reciclamos por Ti Circuit will have as a prize a great surprise trip that will be unveiled before the end of this amateur golf circuit.
This sports initiative is promoted by the Mancomunidad de la Costa del Sol and its public company Acosol, in charge of water supply, to promote the ecological image of the Costa del Sol golf courses, irrigated with reclaimed wastewater.
