The San Miguel Andalucia Golf Challenge landed at the RCC Cordoba

The Real Club de Campo de Córdoba has once again hosted the SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destination Dominican Republic by Globalia’ Circuit. On this occasion the event was held in very special conditions of the course, as the day before had been the scene of the 35th Championship of the PGA Spain by Cordoba, won by local player Victor Pastor with a final round of -5 for a total of -14.

The course, directed by Javier Fernández Gómez, was therefore prepared for a high-level professional competition, with the greens quite hard and very fast and the rough especially complicated, favored in this sense by the recent rains in the area.

The weather conditions were favorable, with sunshine and a pleasant temperature.

Participants in the tournament enjoyed San Miguel beers next to the 10th tee and at the end of the round, with a cocktail being served in the clubhouse. The awards ceremony was attended by the president of the Competition Committee of the RCC Córdoba, José María Alberti Rodríguez.

The XIV SAN MIGUEL ANDALUCÍA ANDALUCÍA GOLF CHALLENGE ‘Destino República Dominicana by Globalia’ is an open amateur circuit organized by the magazine Andalucía Golf / España Golf. The circuit runs through all the Andalusian provinces, as well as Madrid and Mallorca, with most of the rounds being played on the Costa del Sol, on top level courses.

The grand final of the Circuit, from which the five winners of the trips to the Dominican Caribbean will be chosen, will be played on September 28 at Los Arqueros and will be followed by a gala dinner at the Gran Hotel Guadalpín Banús in Marbella.

Access to the final will be direct for the winner of each category and the scratch winner of each tournament, while the remaining places in the final will be awarded based on theBenahavís Ranking based on the points obtained in each event.

The next event of the Circuit will be on Saturday, May 11 at Estepona Golf.
