Once the electoral board was constituted, and the legality of the motion of censure was verified, the president of the board, after reaching an agreement with the other four members, has requested the RFGA to call an Extraordinary General Assembly, composed of 60 people, in which the motion of censure will be debated and voted on.
For the motion of censure to prosper, Ángel Gutiérrez, former president of La Cañada and one of the movers of the motion, needs the absolute majority of the Assembly, that is, 31 votes. In the event of its approval, De la Riva would be removed as president and then Ángel Gutiérrez would be sworn in.
The total loss of confidence in the current board of directors is the main reason for this motion of censure by the assembly members critical of the management of the president of the RFGA.
