There is already a date for the motion of censure against the RFGA president.

The motion of censure against the president of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation, Ángel de la Riva, will take place at the RFGA headquarters on October 17 at 4:00 p.m., according to sources close to the assembly members who have made the decision. The process follows the road map set out in the statutes of the federation and already has a date and time for the vote.

Once the electoral board was constituted, and the legality of the motion of censure was verified, the president of the board, after reaching an agreement with the other four members, has requested the RFGA to call an Extraordinary General Assembly, composed of 60 people, in which the motion of censure will be debated and voted on.

For the motion of censure to prosper, Ángel Gutiérrez, former president of La Cañada and one of the movers of the motion, needs the absolute majority of the Assembly, that is, 31 votes. In the event of its approval, De la Riva would be removed as president and then Ángel Gutiérrez would be sworn in.

The total loss of confidence in the current board of directors is the main reason for this motion of censure by the assembly members critical of the management of the president of the RFGA.
