The Andalucía Golf Challenge Circuit Destination Dominican Republic Ocean’s 4 Bahía Príncipe will be reactivated next July 4 (Saturday) with the celebration of its third event of the year, at the splendid Valle Romano Golf club in Costa del Sol. This is a new opportunity to enter the grand finale of the Circuit, where the five winners of the trips to the Caribbean will be chosen.
The Valle Romano tournament will have important prizes for the scratch winner and the first three classified in each category, as well as for the longest drive (male and female) and the ball closest to the flag. The registration fee for the tournament is 65 euros and includes buggy. The tournament will be played under the individual Stableford modality with two indistinct categories. REGISTRATION
Organized by Andalucía Golf magazine, the Circuit, which this year celebrates its tenth edition and consists of 17 tournaments plus the final, has as sponsors Bahía Príncipe Golf, Bahía Príncipe Hotels & Resorts and Bahía Príncipe Residences, as collaborators Holiday Golf, Fairway+blue and D.O. COURSE DESCRIPTION
Designed by the American Cabell B. Robinson, collaborator of the legendary Robert Trent Jones, Valle Romano is an exceptional 18-hole course, prepared to host the most demanding and prestigious tournaments. Its design guarantees the enjoyment of amateurs and becomes a “challenge” course for professionals.
The course, whose holes are all named after Spanish golfers, was built following the highest quality standards of the United States Golf Association of America, with Agrostis grass variety “Tifsport”, certified by the University of Georgia, and an irrigation system with the latest technology.
With an average of five tees per hole, and spacious greens with multiple flag positions and overlooking the sea, Valle Romano is a course to enjoy in all senses.
In addition, it has a clubhouse equipped with everything: store, restaurant, club room, locker rooms with sauna… And a Golf School and a lighted driving range.
The designer of the course, Cabell B. Robinson, is a prominent architect and author of some of the 100 best golf courses in the world according to Golf Magazine, counting among his creations numerous renowned courses in Spain, France, Morocco, Switzerland, Portugal, Cyprus and Italy.

The top three in each category plus the scratch winner qualify for the Grand Final, where five one-week all-inclusive trips to the Bahia Principe resort in the Dominican Republic with golf at Ocean’s 4, Punta Espada and Teeth of The Dog will be decided. The top two finishers in each category and the scratch winner of the Grand Final will travel to the Dominican Republic.
