It is one of the most beautiful 9-hole courses on the Costa del Sol. Located in Elviria, one of the most beautiful areas of Marbella, Greenlife Golf, as its director, Victoria Domínguez, says, leaves no one indifferent.
Nor will the most demanding palates be indifferent to the haute cuisine of the clubhouse restaurant, El Lago, which has held a Michelin star for several years. Of course, you can also enjoy all kinds of food in the clubhouse during the day, including tasty sandwiches of course, and all at a very good price.
Domínguez, who has been the director of the complex for a few months, highlights the “charm and privileged environment” of Greenlife Golf. “It’s a very fun course and not because it’s a 9-hole course it’s easy: it’s more of a challenge,” she says.
“I think it’s an interesting destination for beginner players,” he says, “families with children who play golf, seniors who don’t want to play 18 holes, people who want to do other leisure activities during their vacation, who have little time, or want to play golf during the week after work.”
Women golfers who want to come to this Marbella course have a special incentive on one day of the week: “On Wednesdays we have women’s day (green fees at half price for them), to promote the practice of golf in the female sector”.
“We are taking care of the details, which has always been the strong point of this par 3 course, small changes that make the difference, such as taking the utmost care of the environment, having an excellent treatment with the client,” says Domínguez.
Another of the club’s facilities is a driving range, which is currently undergoing improvements to be ready for the summer season.
The youngest players also have a special place at Greenlife Golf. “This summer, we will have a Summer Camp for children at the academy. It is our pool of young players, to whom the passion for golf is transmitted. We have a renewed team of PGA professionals who work for clients of all nationalities and help clients improve their swing in a short time; they bring many new and innovative ideas,” says the club director.
Another advantage offered by Greenlife Golf is that it has its own accommodation on the golf course with fifteen fully equipped apartments and two spectacular suites. These facilities won the Guest Review Award 2016. “Clients have recognized our work, passion and dedication” says Dominguez.
The complex also has two clay tennis courts and a renowned tennis academy.
In the clubhouse, in addition to the El Lago Restaurant, there is a gym from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, sauna and massage service on request.
