On Saturday, February 9, the Alferini golf course, belonging to Villa Padierna Golf Club, will host one of the most exciting events of the season. The Gecko Tour Pro-Am Series, which consists of creating teams of four players composed of a professional golfer and three amateurs, is for the latter the prelude to their professional career. Pedro Morán, director of Villa Padierna’s golf area, explains: “In this tournament there are very close games where the young golfers only think about giving their best and learning from the best”.
Villa Padierna Golf Club thus becomes the venue for this prestigious international tournament which brings together the best players of all rankings. Peter Gustafson from Sweden and Carlos Rodiles from Malaga are some of the professional golfers who have already confirmed their attendance.
This time this Pro-Am has some particular characteristics that make it even more special. The modality in which it will be played is Scramble and to give it more excitement, a few days later a Gecko Tour event will be held on the same course of Alferini, so many of the professional golfers will use this Pro-Am as training.
This tournament will be played on February 9 at 9:00 a.m. at Alferini, the most challenging of Villa Padierna Golf Club’s three courses.
Golfers interested in this prestigious circuit can sign up at Villa Padierna Golf Club, both on the web (www.villapadierna.es/golf) and by calling 952 88 91 57 or on the Gecko Tour website (thegeckotour.com).
