International Championship of Andalusia Doubles Pitch & Putt

The couple formed by the player of Guadalhorce, Victor Jimenez, and the player of Atalaya, Sergio Dominguez, has been proclaimed champion of the International Pitch & Putt Andalusia couples, which has been played in Bil Bil Golf.

On Saturday morning 18 holes were played in Foursome mode, in the afternoon the second round was played in Fourballs mode and on Sunday the last day of 18 holes was played in Canada Cup mode.

Víctor Jiménez and Sergio Domínguez -who finished yesterday in second place, behind the Aloha couple, Leonardo Lilja and Juan Antonio Miguel- delivered the best result of the day, scoring 98 strokes for a cumulative score of 197.

After them, in second position was the pair formed by the player from Guadalhorce, Gonzaga de Gregorio, and the player of the Real Club de Sevilla, Mariano Mauri, with a total of 202 strokes.

The third position finally went to the Aloha players, Leonardo Lilja and Juan Antonio Miguel, who finished Saturday as leaders. During Sunday they signed 109 strokes, for a cumulative total of 205, making them move from first to third place in the standings.

As for the handicap classification, the first pair was formed by Juan Soler (El Candado) and Javier Quero (Bil Bil Bil); in second place was the pair formed by Pedro Rodríguez and Pablo Rodríguez, from Añoreta and Benalmádena; and the third prize went to the pair formed by the player from La Cañada, Ángel Ayora, and the member of the Real Club de Sevilla, Ali Berk Berker.

Special mention also goes to Thalia Candon (Atalaya) and Mª Pilar Scenna (Marbella Golf and Country Club), both authors of a hole in one, on 7 and 17 respectively.

The awards ceremony was attended by Cayetano Fernández, Financial Director of Bil Bil Golf; Pablo Mansilla, Sports Director of the Royal Andalusian Golf Federation; and Rafael Toval, chief referee of the tournament.
